Art Fervour Announces Kolkata Art Weekender
Kolkata Art Weekender will bring together galleries, museums, artists, and cultural organisations for a three day city wide celebration from 21 to 23 November 2025, featuring exhibitions, workshops, heritage walks, film screenings, studio visits, and interactive events.
Art Fervour, India’s pioneering art discovery platform, has announced the launch of Kolkata Art Weekender, a three day, city wide celebration of contemporary art taking place from 21 to 23 November 2025. Conceived as Kolkata’s first major collective art festival, the Weekender will unite leading galleries, museums, artists, and cultural institutions in an ambitious programme spread across multiple venues.
Following the success of Art Fervour’s earlier multi city art weekenders, this new Kolkata focused edition brings together visual art, technology, film, design, heritage, and culture in a multidimensional format. The festival aims to reach a broad demographic, particularly younger audiences, while nurturing a new community of art lovers, collectors, buyers, and practitioners. Throughout the weekend, visitors can expect an array of immersive experiences that blend art appreciation with the cultural energy of the city.

A Vision for a New Artistic Community
Speaking about the festival, Nivedita Poddar, Founder of Art Fervour, said:
“We created the Kolkata Art Weekender after our earlier event, the AF Weekender. We wanted to continue our mission of making the arts accessible to all, and we felt that Kolkata deserved a festival of its own. Our goal is to reach young urban art enthusiasts while championing the local arts community. We hope to see the city participate in the lineup of cross disciplinary conversations and interactive experiences that have been curated especially for them.”
